Florentine Renaissance Resources: Online Tratte of Office Holders 1282-1532 (1)

Florentine Renaissance Resources: Online Tratte of Office Holders 1282-1532  http://www.stg.brown.edu/projects/tratte/

STG lead(s): Carole Mah, Elli Mylonas

Following up on and extending work done for the Online Catasto, STG has collaborated with Prof. Litchfield to publish the Tratte data, comprising over 81,000 records concerning office holders of the Florentine Republic. This work included structuring a new database and developing an interface for the new materials.

This site gives access to a data base with information about office holders of the Florentine Republic during its 250-year history. It was developed initially by Professor David Herlihy at Harvard and Brown Universities, and then completed under the direction of Professors R. Burr Litchfield and Anthony Molho at Brown with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Division of Preservation and Access.
