STG initially developed this database in 1997, using Filemaker and related web technologies. We have already updated it so that it uses current web database technology (PHP and MySQL). We have also improved the interface and the database structure to use the improved keywording and data entry capabilities that Prof. Bou identified after having used the database for several years.

Prof. Bou has been working on a bibliographical database of Catalan literature of the 19th and 20th centuries for several years. The online component was first developed for him by STG in 1998 using technology that has since become outdated. He has been working with colleagues in Spain and the US to continue to add to the database.
